YFC Occasional Care is available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.30am-3.30pm for children 6 weeks to 6 years. We are registered for Child Care Subsidy (CCS). The CCS Calculator available on Starting Blocks will assist you with eligibility.
Occasional Care Bookings – January 2026
Casual Bookings are now open for January 2026. Please complete the YFC Occasional Care January Bookings Form 2026 with your requested days. We will send a link to complete 2026 enrolment or re-enrolment when confirming your bookings.
From 5 January 2026, every family eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) will automatically receive a minimum of 3 days of subsidised care per week, per child. This replaces the old Activity Test, which meant families had to prove they were working, studying, or volunteering. Now, every child is guaranteed access to early learning. The program provides an opportunity for parents to attend to other commitments whilst their children are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment. Our program offers a play based learning framework provided by qualified and experienced staff. We offer permanent and occasional placements. Casual bookings are taken up to two weeks in advance.
